We are a church that holds to the historic truths of the Christian faith, as found in the pages of the Bible.
We believe that there is one GOD, eternally existing as three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He made the world, rules the world and loves the world. He is perfect in every way and worthy of our worship. He speaks to us authoritatively in the Scriptures, which are His inspired and infallible Word.
We believe that HUMAN BEINGS are made in God’s image but spoiled by sin. We have rejected the authority of our Maker and broken His laws. Consequently, we are separated from God and in danger of His judgment. In His mercy, God is willing to save us, forgive us and restore us.
We believe that JESUS CHRIST is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He offered up His sinless life as a sacrifice upon the cross, bearing Himself the punishment that sinners deserve. He rose physically from the dead, ascended into heaven, and sits enthroned as Lord over the universe.
We believe that SALVATION is found in Jesus Christ. When we repent of our sins and put our faith in the Lord Jesus, we are pardoned and accepted by God, adopted into His family and granted an eternal heavenly inheritance.
We believe that the HOLY SPIRIT is given to all who believe in the Lord Jesus, to strengthen, transform, comfort and empower them. He is an almighty Helper living inside us, enabling us to be the kind of people God wants us to be.
We believe that the CHURCH consists of all people throughout the world who have faith in Jesus Christ, and that believers are meant to meet together regularly in local gatherings for worship, fellowship and edification. Christ has given two signs to mark out those who belong to His church: baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
We believe that in the FUTURE Jesus Christ will return to this world, to raise the dead and judge the nations. There will be eternal punishment for those who are unforgiven, and eternal bliss for those who have faith in Christ, in the glories of a new creation.
