SERVICES
We meet each Sunday at 10:30am and 5:30pm to worship God through singing, praying and hearing from His Word, the Bible. Everyone is welcome to our services and there are separate groups for children during the morning. After the services, there’s time to talk and catch up over tea and coffee.
OVERSIGHT
The church is overseen by a group of three elders: Mark Fisher, who serves as full-time pastor, Derek French and Jon Hollick.
AFFILIATION
Hanney Chapel is a Reformed Baptist church and is a member of the Grace Baptist Association.
HISTORY
The chapel was originally built in 1862. During the 1990s, the church was revitalised with help from members of Abbey Baptist Church, Abingdon, and was reconstituted as an independent Baptist church in 2012.
